The York School – Gr.9, 10, 11 & 12 – ALIVE Outdoors – Fall 2023

What a start to the 2023 school year with The York School Senior School at camp. As a community, we enjoyed the incredible weather while participating in The York School House Games, fun outdoor grade-level activities, spending time by and in the lake, and starting to school year off by building new connections with our peers and all the Senior School Faculty.

Branksome Hall – Gr.12 Grad Weekend – ALIVE Outdoors – Fall 2023

It’s not often that students lobby their school in an effort to create a totally new program. That is exactly what the Branksome Hall Class of 2024 did!  They wanted a Grad Weekend Retreat to kick off their year, and the school agreed to make it happen. This inaugural program was incredible. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the joy level was high and everyone there embraced every moment.  Kareoke under the stars and time on the waterfront together were some highlights. You are an incredible group with such a solid foundation. Best wishes to everyone for an amazing year ahead.

Royal St. George’s College – Gr.9 – ALIVE Outdoors – Fall 2023

Arriving at their ALIVE program during the first week of school, the students from RSGC took full advantage of the beautiful weather and time in community.  Time spent hiking and canoeing together helped paved the way for a successful workshop on personal strengths where the students opened up about what they can contribute to the RSGC family and how the community could help them grow. A special thank you to the student leaders who role modeled enthusiasm and taking advantage of each day. The younger students further developed a feeling of belonging to the school because of you.

St. Michael’s College School – Gr.9 – ALIVE Outdoors – Fall 2023

The grade 9 class from St. Michael’s College School has started their year with ALIVE Outdoors for more than two decades. It’s the perfect way to help the students unite with their peers, build community, make new friends, and challenge themselves a little. The program always ends with an Eco-Challenge that allows each rotation group to highlight their new found skills, while also adding in a little competitive element.  Thank you to everyone for a great start to the year.
