From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the breathtaking limestone formations of Ha Long Bay, students are immersed in Vietnam’s rich history, diverse cultures, and stunning landscapes. Venturing into the northern highlands, they’ll engage with indigenous hill tribes such as the Hmong, Giay, and Red Dzao, gaining firsthand insight into their traditions, languages, and way of life.
Through immersive experiences in remote villages, students will learn about traditional agricultural practices and the challenges of preserving cultural heritage in a rapidly modernizing world. Whether delving into anthropology, engaging in cultural exchange, or expanding their global perspective, participants will come away with a profound appreciation for Vietnam’s past, present, and future.
Dates: October to December & February to May
The best time of year to visit will depend on where in the country you would like to go and what activities you would like to do. Hiking in Sapa from June to August can be challenging due to the potential of heavier rain. There is also greater chance to rain in the South from May to October.
Length: 7 to 10 days in Vietnam
There is so much possibility and variety in Vietnam. 7 days would be a recommended minimum.
Cost Considerations
Consider spending more time in “homestay” type accommodation. This is a Vietnamese term for more simple lodgings where the group would stay together.

We believe in learning service and interdependence, small changes in language that has a giant change in values and impact. Ask us more about how we are working to change the typical approach to service.
Programs Designed For Growth
Sharing in the experience adds an important layer to the design of all our Global Learning Programs. We ask every program to share their experience through blogs, video highlights and photo albums. We consolidate and transfer learning through real time engagement.
