This immersive educational experience in Morocco illustrates how cultural exploration and community engagement go hand in hand. Students will discover the rich tapestry of Morocco’s history, from the vibrant streets of Marrakech to the serene Amazigh villages nestled in the Atlas Mountains. Through meaningful interactions with local communities, they will gain insights into ancient traditions, crafts, and daily life, while contributing to sustainable development initiatives. This unique program offers a deep dive into Morocco’s diverse cultures, creating lasting connections and unforgettable memories along the way.
Dates: March - June & September to November
Spring temperatures are mild, and the weather is pleasant for exploring cities, deserts, and mountains. July and August can be very hot making outdoor activities very challenging. While the December to February months remain relatively mild in coastal cities and the Sahara, the Atlas Mountains can experience snow and freezing temperatures which may impact travel plans.
Length: 8 to 13 days
With the flight being a Transatlantic flight we recommend at least 8 days.
