Dates: April, May, November
There can be more rain in April, May and November, these dates run outside of the main tourism season on the island, so it is easier to have a more in-depth experience with less crowds.
Length: 5 to 7 days on the island
This program can be combined with a Vancouver or Victoria program element to add extra days on the front or end of the visit to the island.
Cost Considerations
Even though Haida Gwaii is in Canada, the costs can add up quickly. Flights are expensive given how few there are daily and the limited number servicing the island’s airports. The type of accommodations will also greatly impact the cost of the program.
