Dates: November, December, March to June
December and March are busy times to visit Costa Rica. November, April, May and June are ideal times when costs are lower and there is more space to explore. Other dates are possible, please inquire.
Length: 5 to 10 days in Costa Rica
You pick Costa Rica because you want a safe destination with a robust tourism industry that is a short flight from most North American departure locations. The length of time is really dependant on the different areas you want to visit. We suggest a minimum of five days and no more than ten, or you might not want to come back home!
Cost Considerations
A popular destination during the tourist high seasons of March and December, it can also be a cost-effective destination in the shoulder seasons. Cost varies widely based on whether you are staying in rainforest research stations, city or beachfront hotels, or communal living lodges. The more commercial eco-tourism activities you want to plan into your trip will increase the cost as well.

We are dedicated to changing the way service learning is thought of, planned for, and engaged in. We believe in learning service and interdependence, small changes in language that has a giant change in values and impact. Ask us more about how we are working to change the typical approach to service.
Programs Designed For Growth
