This immersive journey into the heart of the Sacred Valley, where ancient wisdom and living traditions offer powerful lessons in resilience, sustainability, and community. Students will engage with Quechua-speaking communities, learning how traditional practices continue to shape daily life, from agriculture to textiles to social cooperation. In Cusco, they’ll deepen their understanding of Andean culture while advancing their Spanish language skills through meaningful interactions. Hiking through breathtaking Andean landscapes, whether along the iconic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu or the lesser-traveled Lares route, offers a unique perspective on the deep connection between the land and its people. Participants may also contribute to heritage conservation efforts at Machu Picchu, gaining insight into the delicate balance between preservation and tourism. This program blends cultural exchange, history, language learning, and adventure, leaving students with a profound appreciation for the enduring legacy of the Inca civilization.
